Inspection

Check the audio remote control switch (A) for resistance between
connector terminals in each switch position.

Removal
1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
2. |
Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to the RT group - "Driver airbag module and clock spring")

3. |
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to the ST group - "Steering column & shaft")
|
4. |
Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening 4 screws.
|
5. |
Remove the steering wheel remote control switches connectors.

[RH-Cruise/ Trip + Reset]

6. |
Remove the wiring and loosen 5 screws.
|
7. |
Remove the steering wheel remote control switch assembly (A).
|
8. |
Remove the bluetooth switch and the trip switch (A) after loosening
the screws.

Installation

Install the steering wheel remote control switch.

Install the steering wheel cover.

3. |
Install the steering wheel.

4. |
Install the driver airbag module.
